Feelings Of Gratitude For Good Neighbors, And For Visions Of The Future

I am very thankful.  My next door neighbor installed the new mirror on Misty’s car.  It is very good to have a neighbor who is good with cars.

I read in the Book of Mormon this evening, in 1 Nephi 11 (click on this link to go to that chapter) about Nephi’s vision of the Tree of Life.  This vision was presented to Nephi by an angel.  It was the same vision presented to his father Lehi.  As I was reading about this vision, I thought about the other visions which are in the scriptures.

I thought about the Book of Revelations, which is a vision presented to John the Revelator.  I thought about the visions of Isaiah, and Ezekiel, and Daniel, and the other prophets.  For me, those are all gifts of God.  They are visions of the future, and they eventually come to pass.

I am grateful for having a Heavenly Father, who sends His angels down to tell us what the future has in store for us.  Because He does these things, I know that He loves us.

I am also grateful for having a Heavenly Father, who gave me a neighbor who can fix my car.
