The Need For The Protestant Reformation

Yesterday, I talked about the Protestant Reformation. I just want to clarify that I am not anti-Catholic. I think that the present-day Catholic church is right-on as far as morality is concerned. Although, I still am grateful for those who stood up during the Protestant Reformation. If it was not for them, there would not have been such a religious fervor during Joseph Smith’s time, and he would not have wondered which church to join. If there was no Protestant Reformation, there would have only been the Catholic church.

But, as a result of the Protestant Reformation, and Joseph Smith, we now have the ability to know that there is a Heavenly Father who loves us, and His Son, Jesus Christ. They are real people.
