I thank God for my many blessings, which are far too many to list. I thank Him for protecting me when I have crashed, and fallen, so that I can live to see today. I thank Him for the many people who have cared for me, and loved me. I thank Him for my health and by prosperity, for my wife, and most of all for my faith.
If it were not for the gospel of Jesus Christ, I would be doing a lot of things that I should not; but because my Father in Heaven loves me, He inspired two missionaries of the LDS Church to come and invite me to read the scriptures with them. He taught me how I should take care of the body that He gave me, with a health code. He taught me to pray to Him, so that I may be able to converse with Him, and feel His promptings. He taught me to feel those promptings, so that I may stay on the strait and narrow path, so that I may be able to keep His Spirit with me. He also gave me the Gift of the Holy Ghost, so that I may have companionship throughout my days, as long as I am true and faithful. He taught me His plan, so that I can find meaning to my life, and know why I am here, and where I can be, if I follow His plan of happiness. His Spirit fills me with joy, with confidence, with peace, and with love. For these things, and more, I am most grateful.
I felt inspired to write these words after I read in 2 Nephi 4; and I invite all those who read this, if you have never read those verses, for you also to read these words of gratitude, for what Heavenly Father has done for another servant of God. Just click this link.
