A Very Spiritually Edifying Sabbath Day

This morning, we went to the church. It was very nice. The Spirit touched my heart during Sacrament Meeting, especially while we sang “I Know That My Redeemer Lives”. My testimony of His resurrection has grown so much stronger while I have been writing in our blog. I am thankful for the inspired advice from an Apostle, Elder M. Russell Ballard, when he encouraged members of the Church to share the gospel on the Internet:  Using New Media to Support the Work of the Church.

His speech inspired me to write in this blog, which we have had for years; but just recently, I felt inspired to share my thoughts and testimony. Now, my dear and long-time friend, Matt Rossiter, has started his own blog: http://blog.rossiters.com/.  I feel honored to be joined in this great cause by others who feel inspired to share the truth.

When I think about my testimony of the resurrected Lord, I also think about the very clear description in the Book of Mormon, of what will happen, in Alma 11:43-45. I do not know of a more simple, and more easily understood description, of what will happen when we are resurrected.

This evening, we went to my parents’ and celebrated my dad’s 81st birthday. It was a lot of fun. I really appreciated the opportunity to spend time with my parents’, and Ruth and Erica.
