God Grants Us Our Desires

I just came upon a word which I did not understand, “harrow”.  From Merriam -Webster’s dictionary:

“to cause persistent suffering to”

“I ought not to harrow up in my desires, the firm decree of a just God, for I know that he granteth unto men according to their desire” (Alma 29:4).

What this means to me is that I am not given the priviledge of granting myself the fruit of my desires, because the fruit comes from God.
