At church, for Father’s Day, we were treated with cinnamon rolls. They were delicious!
On this Father’s Day, I think of my fathers which have made it possible to live, and to live comfortably. I look forward to meeting many of them after the resurrection, which is taught in Alma 40. For this reason, it is important for me to do my Family History work, so I can know who they are .
I am also thankful for my dad, who has been a great provider; and more importantly, my Father in heaven, who cares about me all the time. I am thankful the covenants which He has made with me, and He has promised me that if I am true and faithful to those covenants, I will be a father some day, just like Him. He made this promise to me because He loves me, and He wants me to be happy. He keeps His promises, and He is bound to keep those promises as a result of my faithfulness. Although, I will not receive those blesssings solely as a result of what I have done, but as a result of the Atonement of His Son, Jesus Christ; because I have been unfaithful in the past, and I will continue to make mistakes. I pray that He will forgive my sins, and I continually repent of them, so that we all may live together in the resurrection.
