Recordkeeping Leads To Happiness And Prosperity

I thought about how the Book of Fourth Nephi is so short, and it covers about 200 years. It seems as though there were not many records kept during this time; and, more importantly, this book records the demise of the Nephite civilization. Are these two events related? I believe so, just like I have explained before.

For me, recordkeeping leads to happiness and prosperity: Happiness, because I can write down my thoughts and think about the best thing to do; Prosperity, because measuring performance leads to changing behaviors.
