I think of how excruciating it must have been for Jesus to die on the cross for me. I think about how His hands, wrists, and feet, were nailed to the boards, and He hung there in agony. Yet, He still forgave those who persecuted Him. Before that, He was whipped, and tortured with a crown of thorns, and humiliated; and He was still meek and humble as a lamb. He bled for me, and I remember that, and have the opportunity to remember that very important event every time I partake of the sacramental wine (Moroni 5:2).
