Charitably Sharing God’s Gift Of A Testimony

I am thankful for my testimony that I know that Jesus is the Christ, and I know that I know that He is the Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost. For, the scriptures say: “no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost” (1 Cor. 12:3). So, my testimony is a gift from the Holy Ghost, or a gift from God, or a Gift of the Spirit.

I just read that Joseph Smith gave his testimony of what he experienced when he received the Holy Ghost. I also give my testimony that what he said is true. For, as the scriptures say: “freely ye have received, freely give” (Matt 10:8). Also, 1 Cor 16:14 says, “Let all your things be done with charity.” Furthermore, modern revelation, from God, explains: “Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly: then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God” (D&C 121:45).

So, I will follow the example of Jesus, Joseph Smith, and Paul, and share what has been given to me from God, which is my testimony that Jesus is the Christ. I know that that is true with all my heart.

Here is what I previously wrote when I read the Testimony of Joseph Smith:  Gratefulness & Sharing God’s Blessings
