Faith In The Son Of The Most High God

We went to church, and then we came home and I helped Misty with her homework by letting her take pictures of me (not exactly a Sabbath Day activity, but she was running out of time to take pictures for her Tuesday class). I needed professional-looking pictures for the Internet, so I dressed up in a suit coat, white shirt, and tie, still wearing my sweat pants. The portraits were only chest high. We transformed our Guest Room into a Photography Studio, with different backdrops.

After that, we watched the second episode of “Fires Of Faith” on BYU TV.

I believe in the Son of the most high God; and because of my faith, God has bestowed upon me the prophecies of the condescension of God, His earthly ministry, His Atonement, and the fall of those who fight against His church. These prophecies are explained in 1 Nephi 11, which is rich with scriptural references pointing to prophecies in the Old and New Testament, as well as the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine And Covenants. What a rich chapter in the Book of Mormon, worthy of much study in the future!

This is what I previously wrote after reading 1 Nephi 11:  Feelings Of Gratitude For Good Neighbors, And For Visions Of The Future
