The Prophet Joseph Smith said:
“I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precept, than by any other book.”
I know what Joseph Smith has said is true, because I have felt the Holy Ghost indicate to me that what he said is true. From what I understand, as I explained yesterday, the Book of Mormon accomplishes what it set to do:
1. Show that God has blessed our forefathers;
2. Restore the covenants which were made with our forefathers;
3. Prove that Jesus is the Christ.
I add my witness to that of Joseph Smith. I thank God for giving me this gift. I pray that I remain worthy to receive it, by sharing what I have received with others. For if I do not share what I have been given, then I will lose it, which is the purpose of the parable of the talents (Matt 25:14-30).
This is what I previously wrote when I read the Introduction Page of the Book of Mormon: The Bible & The Book Of Mormon Working Hand-In-Hand
