Yesterday, at work, I accidentally deleted a testing database. Today, my boss asked me what happened. I told her. I am glad that I have the ability to tell the truth. She was not happy with what I told her, but she really could not reprimand me. It was an honest mistake.
This evening, a friend and the missionaries helped me home teach. It was a night of inspiration. We were inspired to spontaneously visit some other friends. We had a very nice time. After that, we returned to my friend’s where his wife fed us hot chocolate. What a very nice evening!
I was just thinking how “the fire of the anger of the Lord shall be kindled against them, and they shall be as stubble, and the day that cometh shall consume them, saith the Lord of Hosts”. (2 Nephi 26:6) ‘Them’ are those who are wicked. It came to me that ‘them’ being like ‘stubble’ is a physical, and a spiritual, description. The wicked will be so small, and so insignificant, spiritually, that they will actually be pitiful. What a sorry sight they will be to see. So, it is best to follow the Lord, so I will not be counted among ‘them’; and I will be those whom have truly loved me.
This is what I previously wrote after reading 2 Nephi 26: Worship Pleases The Lord
