Sing Unto Lord For His Excellence

We slept in until about 11 AM because we got in about 11 PM last night. We cleaned up after Thanksgiving and went out and bought a Christmas Tree. No, we did not join the crowds who were shopping on Black Friday. The Christmas Tree lot at the Home Depot was practically empty of people. We got in, paid about $26 for a 6-7 foot Douglas fir tree, and got out very quickly.

This evening, we were invited out to Romeo Cucina with some friends. It was a very, very, nice time. Back when I worked at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, as a Concierge Page, I used to refer guests to Romeo Cucina; and this was the first time I had ever dined there. The food was delicious, and we were entertained by a world-class pianist: Giovanni. He was remarkable! What a treat! He invited us to pull up a chair, right to the piano, and we watched him go to work. It was a remarkable experience. So personal. So intimate. I cannot say enough.

After that, how can I do anything but, “Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things” (Isaiah 12:5; 2 Nephi 22:5).

This is what I wrote previously after reading 2 Nephi 22:  Jesus’ Millennial Reign
