We did some final Christmas shopping and watched ‘The Santa Clause’.
Just like those in Mosiah 6:1-2, my name has been recorded, as one who has made a covenant to take on the name of Christ, by always obeying His commandments. I have made a promise, and in return I have received a promise if I obey. I am now accountable because my name has been recorded as being one who has made this covenant. I am, and will be, judged by how true and faithful I am to this covenant. My name was recorded when I was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At that time, I made this covenant:
“Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?” (Mosiah 18:10)
This is what I previously wrote after reading Mosiah 6: Writing Things Down!
