The Three Purposes Of The Book Of Mormon Declared By Nephi

I am thankful for the words of Nephi, for he reminded me that what he has written:

“persuadeth them to do good; it maketh known unto them of their fathers; and it speaketh of Jesus, and persuadeth them to believe in them, and to endure to the end, which is life eternal.” (2 Nephi 33:4)

In other words, he is, again, talking about the three purposes of the Book of Mormon:

1.To remind us what the Lord has done for our fathers;
2.To remind us of the promised blessings if we are faithful;
3.To declare that Jesus is the Christ.

This central theme is herein declared by Nephi.
