A friend and I went out on visits. I enjoy going out and meeting the people. It gives me a chance for me to care about them, and for them to know that I care about them. It gives me a chance to see what they are doing, and satisfies my curiosity.
Most importantly, I think this is what the Lord would do, and as I have taken on the name of Christ, I want to do good with His name.
“And it came to pass that whosoever were desirous to take upon them the name of Christ, or of God, they did join the churches of God;
And they were called the people of God. And the Lord did pour out his spirit upon them, and they were blessed, and prospered in the land.” (Mosiah 25:23-24)
The Lord has poured out His Spirit upon me. I have felt it. I have witnessed it. That testify that it happens.
Last night, I was returning chairs to some friends, who loaned us their chairs for the Empty Nesters Family Home Evening. Just as I got out of my car, the missionaries just so happened to be walking by on the way to their dinner appointment. They asked if they could help taking the chairs out of my car. I was so blessed, by an outpouring of the Lord’s Spirit, which inspired us to be at the same place at the same time.
This is what I previously wrote after reading Mosiah 25: The Lord Has Delivered The Ordinances Of Salvation
