Here’s a great scripture!:
“And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive.” (Alma 7:23)
I have got a lot to learn from that verse of scripture. I fall short of that description in so many ways; but I just have to pick myself up and try again. I am thankful for how well this verse describes what I need to do, that I have the example for me to follow, and I can think of the many examples, mentors, I have around me, for me to emulate. I pray that I may do so.
This is what I previously wrote after reading Alma 7: Trying To Be Like Jesus
