In the evening, I met with the OCMCO and we started recording our Christmas CD, which is will be our third CD. We recorded at St. Wilfrid of York, which is an Episcopal Church in Huntington Beach, from 5 to 11 PM.
One of Christ’s greatest miracles is His resurrection; and our resurrection has been prophesied in Ezekiel 37:12-14:
“Therefore prophesy and say unto them. Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open our graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of our graves,
And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.”
I was led to these scriptures after reading Alma 40:23:
“The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame.”
These verses provide hope, that there is more to life than just this existence. Life has meaning: to prepare to live with God.
Furthermore, as I stated on November 6, 2011, this is another instance where the Bible and the Book of Mormon come together to explain a divinely inspired principle.
This is what I previously wrote after reading Alma 40: Happy Father’s Day! Thinking Of The Resurrection
