Good Music Builds Zion

I went to Ward Choir Practice. We are performing this weekend, to celebrate Easter. I also announced that this will be my last season with the OCMCO.

After I have finished serving with the OCMCO, I plan to bring more music into my home, and into the Ward and Stake. I want to sing with my dear sweet wife, Misty. She now has a violin; and we will play and sing together. I will start playing the piano again too. Also, I will make myself available for the Ward and for the Stake; and the performances will be beautiful.

I want to do these things because the Lord has given me a talent, and I need to use it. With the OCMCO, I only performed twice a year; and I want to perform more often, to build Zion, in my home, in the Ward, and in the Stake. Performing more often will give more missionary opportunities, and allow more people to appreciate the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thereby, I hope to avoid this disaster:

“And now, my beloved brethren, behold, I declare unto you that except ye shall repent your houses shall be left unto you desolate.

Yea, except ye repent, your women shall have great cause to mourn in the day that they shall give suck; for ye shall attempt to flee and there shall be no place for refuge; yea, and wo unto them which are with child, for they shall be heavy and cannot flee; therefore, they shall be trodden down and shall be left to perish.” (Helaman 15: 1-2)

This is what I previously wrote after reading Helaman 15:  Fear To Sin
