Last night, after I ate dinner, we went to the Mission Viejo Mall, because Haagen-Dazs was giving away free ice cream. Misty had dinner at the Food Court, and then we had ice cream. After that, we went to the Microsoft Store, and Misty asked about the use QR Codes, because her work wants to add a QR Code to their brochure. While we were there, we received a call from a friend, who wanted Misty to help him with his web site. So, we met him back home.
Misty met with him, while I tried to still a QR Code Reading application on our cell phone. I was unsuccessful, but it was a good learning experience. I learned about how impossible some phone manufacturers make it to install anything on their phones. Samsung uses a proprietary operating system that is locked down.
I am thankful for the good people around me, like our friend. He helped us in our previous home, when we were having the termites removed. He helped us bring some things to the Residence Inn while our home was being tented.
On the other hand, I am warned by scripture that:
“But, behold, the judgments of God will overtake the wicked; and it is by the wicked that the wicked are punished; for it is the wicked that stir up the hearts of the children of men unto bloodshed.” (Mormon 4: 5).
So, I need to surround myself with good people, to be safe. As I explained the last time I read Mormon 4 (in Christ’s Strength), it is Christ who keeps me safe from harm.
