Visiting Others Restores The House Of Israel

Yesterday evening, I went out and visited people whom the High Priests needed to know if they want to be home taught. We had a some nice visits. I wanted to make sure that they knew that they are loved.

I have found, through reading the Book of Mormon, that one of the main purposes of the gospel is to gather the tribes of Israel, who have been lost, due to wickedness. For it says:

“Now these things are written unto the remnant of the house of Jacob; and they are written after this manner, because it is known of God that wickedness will not bring them forth unto them; and they are to be hid up unto the Lord that they may come forth in his own due time.

And this is the commandment which I have received; and behold, they shall come forth according to the commandment of the Lord, when he shall see fit, in his wisdom.

And behold, they shall go unto the unbelieving of the Jews; and for this intent shall they go – that they may be persuaded that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God; that the Father may bring about, through his most Beloved, his great and eternal purpose, in restoring the Jews, or all the house of Israel, to the land of their inheritance, which the Lord their God hath given them, unto the fulfilling of his covenant;

And also that the seed of this people may more fully believe his gospel, which shall go forth unto them from the Gentiles; . . .” (Mormon 5: 12-15)

Therefore, through righteousness, the gospel truths shall be made known, and the House of Israel shall be reconstituted. At this time, I am trying to help in this endeavor, by visiting those who will receive me; and by telling them that I love them; by inviting them to join me on the Sabbath, at church; and by sharing gospel truths; and how happy I am because of my testimony that I know that they have brought me much happiness. As we become one in faith, the House of Israel becomes restored.

This is what I previously wrote after reading Mormon 5:  Repent, For God Has All Power
